Year End Residential Sales Market Report

2021 winded down with slower sales activity due to less than a half of the homes available in Dec. of 2020.  However, the pace of the sales sizzled in December 2021, especially on the Eastside with 75% of all sales sold above asking by a median of 15%. Ending the year, the total sales exceeded 9% more than last year while prices increased for the same home by an incredible 37% on the eastside to almost a median of $1,530,000. Buyers really need to have patience and a great Real Estate Broker who has the knowledge, skill and care to acquire a home right now.  Sellers need the same type of broker right now as there are life altering opportunities for them if they choose the right broker to properly position, price, market & negotiate their homes in today’s ever-changing market.
